Attention tennis players!!! Due to a High School tennis match our practice will end at 3:30 today. Please let your ride know asap.

7^th and 8^th Graders- Your spring dance will be held on Friday, May 10^th from 3-5 in the cafeteria. Admission is $5.00, concessions are available for $2.00 each item. This is not a “dress up” dance. Please do not plan on changing clothes. We are having a themed  dress up day that day to celebrate “Teacher Appreciation” week. The dance theme and dress up day is “Glow with the Flow. Wear NEON colors. Any questions see Mrs. Schultz or a student council member.

Attention students- Next week we will be having a “Spring into Spirit Week” to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week. The following are dress up days.

Monday- Jersey/Team Sport Shirt Day

Tuesday- Teacher Appreciation Day (Dress like your favorite teacher and show them how much you appreciate them.

Wednesday-Hawaiian/Beach Day (Follow Dress Code, NO SWIMSUITS)

Thursday-Harper Creek Pride Day (Wear your Blue and White)

Friday-Neon Go With the Flow Day. (Wear Neon or Bright Colors)

The following LEAD tickets were drawn Friday for the weekly ticket draw. Please come to the office following announcements. Brexton Hoffman, Ava Tunis, Quinn Baker, Trey Tchorzynski, Colin Alday, Oliver Bartholomew, Jensyn Wheeler, Charlize Dishman.  Teachers- please remember to put first and last names and sign the LEAD tickets when giving them to students.

Absolutely fabulous day for the Harper Creek Clay Target team this past Saturday as they attended the Harper Creek Schools Trap Invitational held at Hillsdale College. The Beavers made sure everyone took notice. Even with extreme winds, they were a force to be reckoned with, as they dug in and won. The Beavers brought home more hardware with the Varsity Squads medaling with 1st place, and placing 6th and 9th. The Junior Varsity followed that by medaling with 1st and 3rd places. The Intermediate Advanced squad medaled with 3rd, the Intermediate Entry placed 4th, and the Rookie squad medaled in 3rd place. 

8^th Grade Students- Are you interested in trying out for the High School Pom Team? Tryouts are May 14^th, 16^th and 17^th I the HS Back Gym 4-7pm. Flyers are in the office.

Calling all current 8^th grade males and females interested in joining us for Friday Night Lights! High School Sideline Cheer tryouts are just around the corner! No experience necessary, tryouts are to decide team placement. Don’t let fear hold you back. Take a chance on yourself and be a part of something great! Contact Coach Davis, Coach Bryant, or Coach Max with questions. Head to the office for a packet and get more info on our socials. Let’s go blue!

8^th graders- Student Senate applications are available in the office for next year. They are due this week. Be sure your application in complete.

Are you interested in winning a Stanley cup? Buy raffle tickets during your lunch. Tickets are $1 each, the drawing will be announced Friday May 3rd. There will be one Stanley cup raffled off per grade. All proceeds will be donated to the School LEAD Store. 

Don’t forget to drop those lead tickets in the box labeled with your grade in the cafeteria. Yours may be drawn to pick a prize from the store.

Lacrosse results from last week Wednesday- Both teams played portage. 5/6 won 13-0 and 7/8 lost 9-5.
